Role Overview
Product Specialist Oncology, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at Johnson & Johnson. This is a commission-based pharmaceutical sales role within the Innovative Medicine division, focused on oncology and hematology.

Role Purpose
The Product Specialist represents Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine to healthcare professionals, ensuring products are used according to their clinical indications and merit while upholding all J&J Credo obligations. The role promotes registered products within registered indications to increase product access and serve more eligible patients by detailing product value and maximizing patient share within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Access & Market Share
- Maximize patient share of assigned products through understanding the patient pathway and ensuring sales are maximized while respecting J&J compliance, quality guidelines, and local laws.
- Identify short and long-term business opportunities according to Business Unit strategy in collaboration with the Market Access team.
Healthcare Professional Engagement
- Use a multichannel approach to reach healthcare professionals on assigned lists through face-to-face visits, email, phone calls, and presentations as required.
- Conduct outreach with set quality and quantity according to CVT strategy and provide quality call feedback for each visit.
- Achieve market share targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain long-term engagements with customers and stakeholders within accounts, including Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, and Hospital Management.
Scientific Leadership & Brand Positioning
- Promote J&J Innovative Medicine's image as a scientific transformational digital innovator within assigned accounts.
- Organize promotional and digital scientific meetings.
Account Management & Access
- Conduct full account mapping to understand logistical processes, product listing processes, contracting, account stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
Execution Excellence & Performance
- Fulfill all Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs within agreed timelines.
- Update databases with correct and accurate reporting of visits to healthcare professionals with valuable call feedback.
- Handle samples correctly and continuously improve qualitative performance.
- Achieve results in scientific quizzes organized by CVT according to manager expectations.
Compliance & Knowledge Management
- Organize assigned activities respecting all compliance rules and using the correct CRM system as stipulated in related SOPs.
- Comply with local laws, HCBI guidelines, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), J&J Policy of Business Conduct, and other J&J policies.
- Adhere to pharmacovigilance rules and notify within company regulations about Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints.
- Maintain quality and compliance practices and meet global fleet safety standard requirements and local traffic laws.
- Attend all assigned training courses and capture learnings showing improvement in technical and ethical business practices.
- Report to manager all information affecting business results and territory and accounts performance.
- Report any information affecting J&J Innovative Medicine's image or misconduct by internal or external stakeholders that might affect company image or performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate of Pharmacy.
- 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Experience within the Oncology therapeutic area is preferred.
- Fluency in English required.
- Digital knowledge is an advantage.
