Procurement Officer | Fit-out & Joinery at United Al Saqer Group (Royal Joinery). This is a strategic sourcing and supplier management role supporting MEP, interior fit-out, and joinery projects.

Role Purpose
The Procurement Officer is accountable for assisting in the planning, development and management of procurement arrangements. This role involves planning, executing, and optimising procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services while maximising cost-efficiency in support of MEP, interior fit-out, and joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and financial objectives.
- Conduct thorough supplier research, evaluation, and selection to establish a reliable supply chain.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify procurement opportunities.
Contract & Supplier Management
- Negotiate and manage contracts to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to enhance performance and collaboration.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards.
Procurement Operations
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle, from purchase order initiation to goods/service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, predict material requirements, and optimise resource allocation.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery to minimise delays and disruptions.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and analyse procurement reports to inform decision-making and identify cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budgetary guidelines, and procurement regulations.
Stakeholder Support
- Provide procurement expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
