Role Overview

Procurement Lead (Q-TU) at JASARA PMC. This is a strategic leadership position overseeing procurement operations to support the successful delivery of Giga projects.

Role Purpose

To lead procurement operations at a strategic level, drive procurement strategies, optimize supply chain efficiencies, and foster strong vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to procurement teams to achieve operational excellence.

Operations & Compliance

  • Lead and manage the procurement function across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with project objectives.

Team Leadership

  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing procurement teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 15–18 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven track record in managing procurement for large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
