Role Overview
Pipeline Engineer- ARC GIS Specialist at Technip Energies, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, reporting directly to the Head of the Department.

Role Purpose
To prepare pipeline drawings and conduct ArcGIS-based pipeline routing and design work for onshore and offshore projects, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and quality standards under operational direction from the Lead Designer/Lead Engineer and functional direction from the Pipeline Discipline Head.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drawing Preparation
- Prepare drawings assigned by lead engineer/lead designer in accordance with applicable Drawing Office Procedure (DOP).
- Perform assigned drafting tasks with little or no supervision, under pressure, proactively and cooperatively.
- Ensure that drawings are completed within allotted man hours and document deadlines are met.
- Ensure that all prepared drawings are properly checked for accuracy and completeness prior to passing to lead designer and lead engineer for final technical scrutiny.
Quality & Documentation
- Check that prints of drawings are properly documented and available for quality audits.
- Maintain compliance with Drawing Office Procedure standards.
Support & Field Work
- Assist lead designer as and when required.
- Perform site visits on onshore and offshore projects.
Pipeline Routing & Permitting
- Prepare pipeline routing in ArcGIS software.
- Manage pipeline Right of Way (ROW) NOC (No Objection Certificate) approval processes with Statutory Authorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geo-Informatics Engineering or Geo-Information Systems.
- Minimum 7 years of pipeline design experience in onshore and offshore projects.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with ArcGIS.
- Sound working experience in AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with pipeline ROW NOC approval from Statutory Authorities.
- Good knowledge of surveys and various coordinate systems used for surveying.
- Experience in FEED and EPC projects.
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in the Gulf region.
- Preferably knowledge of ADNOC group Drawing Office Procedure (DOP).
