Role Overview
People Operations Excellence Specialist at Tamara, a leading fintech platform in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region. The role is based at headquarters in Riyadh, with regional and global support offices available.

Role Purpose
Provide tactical and strategic HR consulting on people and organization development strategies to support business objectives. You will deliver comprehensive HR partnership across employee relations, policy interpretation, performance and compensation management, and talent management to create unique experiences for Tamara's workforce.
Key Responsibilities
HR Partnership & Strategy
- Provide HR partnership and support for strategic and tactical initiatives, including day-to-day HR assistance and strategy execution for assigned business groups.
- Partner with other HR team members, including International HR, Immigration, and Payroll, acting as a point of contact and liaison with supported groups to deliver comprehensive HR services.
Employee Relations & Change Management
- Foster and maintain effective relationships with leaders and employees, offering guidance on HR and business issues at all levels.
- Manage employee relations and act as a change agent by implementing best practices and improving work relationships.
- Coach employees and management through complex, difficult issues.
Leadership & Influence
- Influence and coach leaders and managers to achieve business objectives within assigned populations.
Talent Management & Development
- Manage talent development and succession planning, including identifying performance gaps and training needs for departments, managers, and employees within assigned business groups.
- Identify training, coaching, and mentoring needs for departments, managers, and employees.
Compliance & Policy
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of compliance requirements related to day-to-day employee management, ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with legal and compliance departments as needed.
- Maintain strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR, including employment law and compliance requirements.
HR Process Implementation
- Implement HR best practices for key HR processes, such as performance management, compensation planning, workforce and capability planning, and talent management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- 3 or more years of HRBP experience.
- Previous experience coaching employees and management through complex, difficult issues.
- Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR, including employment law and compliance requirements.
- Proven client management and business acumen.
