Company Overview

Ali & Sons Holding LLC operates through its subsidiary Inter Emirates Motors, which has partnered with British motor brand MG since late 2020. The company operates six showrooms and five service centres across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Al Ain, with almost 100 after-sales representatives supporting customer service throughout the buying journey.

Role Purpose

The Parts Picker is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, handling, distribution, and tracking of automotive parts and materials. The role ensures that parts are properly organized and readily available for Retail and Workshop counters, while maintaining accurate inventory records and following company standards for stock handling and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Storage

• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute automotive parts and materials to Retail and Workshop counters.
• Open bales, crates, cartons, and other containers safely using the appropriate tools and equipment.
• Move materials and parts from receiving areas to appropriate storage or designated locations.
• Sort and organize parts and materials on racks, shelves, bins, and designated storage areas according to product code, type, size, style, or other predetermined sequences.

Order Fulfillment and Dispatch

• Read and interpret parts orders, shipping orders, requisitions, and other inventory documents to identify items to be received, moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Pick, assemble, and pack customer orders from available stock and prepare them for dispatch.
• Prepare parts and materials for delivery, mailing, or internal distribution using appropriate packaging.

Inventory Management

• Record quantities of materials and parts received, distributed, or transferred.
• Weigh and count parts and materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Enter and update inventory and stock movement records using computer systems.
• Confirm all inventory movements and ensure that records are accurately updated.
• Support accurate stock control by reporting discrepancies, shortages, damages, or other inventory issues to the relevant supervisor.

Warehouse Operations

• Label and mark materials with the required identification and product information.
• Maintain proper organization of the parts storage area and ensure parts are stored securely and efficiently.
• Ensure parts are handled carefully to minimize damage, loss, or misplacement.
• Follow established warehouse, inventory control, health, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or National Parts Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar parts store, warehouse, or inventory-handling role.
• Experience in automotive parts handling or dealership/workshop warehouse operations is preferred.
• High School qualification or Diploma.

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of parts receiving, storage, picking, packing, and distribution processes.
• Ability to read and understand parts orders, requisitions, shipping documents, and inventory records.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and recording inventory movements.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to update inventory records.
• Familiarity with warehouse or inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support both Retail and Workshop requirements.
• Ability to safely handle and move automotive parts and materials.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
