Role Overview

Painter at Al Tayer Group. The role involves carrying out effective and efficient painting of customer vehicles as per the company's standard and specification.

Role Purpose

To prepare, paint, and finish customer vehicles to company standards, including surface preparation, color matching, spray application, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and Material Management

• Collect job orders and necessary materials and tools to carry out painting on customer vehicles in accordance with company standard and specification.
• Prepare the damaged area for refinishing the panels.
• Carry out masking procedures.
• Prepare spray painting materials and equipment.

Painting and Finishing

• Ensure quality color blending and mixing is done for the paint to match the rest of the vehicle color.
• Use appropriate painting technique – water based or base coat for refinishing the panels.
• Prepare and paint plastic components.
• Carry out paint rectification and touch up work.
• Carry out polishing and detailing.

Maintenance and Safety

• Use and maintain workplace, tools and equipment.
• Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Matriculation or ITI Qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a painter.
