Role Overview

Paint Technician at Galadari Brothers.

Role Purpose

Perform paint colour mixing, formulation, and vehicle refinishing to achieve required shades and deliver high-quality results that contribute to customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Paint Mixing & Formulation

• Perform paint colour mixing and formulation to achieve the required vehicle shade.
• Ensure accurate colour mixing and blending to achieve a proper match with the existing vehicle colour.
• Use computer systems and paint-mixing software and programs effectively.

Refinishing & Application

• Deliver high-quality vehicle refinishing with good efficiency.
• Apply appropriate painting techniques, including water-based and base-coat refinishing, as required.
• Follow technical specifications provided by the vehicle manufacturer and instructions from Management.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Identify equipment-related issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow Management instructions and SOPs for proper equipment handling.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workplace occupational health and safety procedures.
• Perform any other relevant duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• S.S.C., Trade Certificate, or Vocational Training.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Paint Mixer or Auto Painter within a reputable dealership or automotive workshop.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of spray booth operations.
• Ability to identify and assess painting defects.
• Good understanding of paint mixing machines, colour mixing processes, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of different types of automotive paint materials and refinishing products.
