Role Overview

Operator at Napco National. The role involves operating offset printing machines to produce printed sheets under the guidance of a Lead Operator.

Role Purpose

Operate offset printing machines to produce printed sheets according to customer specifications, job tickets, and quality standards. Manage machine setup, color matching, quality control, and equipment maintenance throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production Setup

• Prepare the next job according to the Factory Job Ticket (FJT) from the Team Leader.
• Fill the machine with the right ink prepared by the ink section or appropriate inks received from suppliers.
• Fix the printing plates and the blankets on the machine.

Machine Operation & Configuration

• Set machine parameters according to work instructions and guidance from Lead Operator.
• Make ready for job and conduct color matching as per the customer approved shade range.
• Adjust machine settings to match client requirements.
• Follow up printing process and check for impression, registration and ink properties.
• Maintain parameters until the end of the job.

Quality Assurance

• Provide quality control with samples for inspection and first sample approval.

Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Make sure that machines and the premises are clean at all times.
