Role Overview

Operator at Napco National. The role is responsible for operating production machinery, managing quality standards, coordinating with support teams, and maintaining production records.

Role Purpose

To operate production machinery safely and efficiently according to work instructions, manage startup quality, troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate production documentation, and coordinate with quality control and support staff to minimize downtime and ensure finished goods meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Troubleshooting

• Operate the machine as per Work Instructions and IFM to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot issues and request support when needed to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, IFM, etc.) prior to starting a new job to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.

Quality Control & Coordination

• Coordinate with the QC Inspector to ensure the quality of the startup run and confirm that finished goods meet specifications.
• Report any quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for necessary action.
• Check product and pallet labels to ensure correct details and proper packing mode.

Maintenance & Support Management

• Request maintenance support through the Team Leader for corrective maintenance activities.

Team Leadership & Workflow

• Assign tasks to Helpers to maintain an organized workflow and sustain 5S standards around the machine and workplace.
• Inform Helpers about the required bag and pallet types and set the filling scale according to the required bag weight.

Documentation & Reporting

• Record daily production data in DPR and ERP systems and submit it to the Team Leader to track production activities.
• Fill in machine parameter forms and submit them to the Team Leader for approval and system logging to improve productivity and efficiency.

Additional Information

• Familiarity with DPR and ERP systems required.
• Knowledge of Work Instructions, IFM documentation, and machine parameter forms required.
