Role Overview

Operator at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste averages and producing the best quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Set the machine properly and perform size changes.
• Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste averages and producing the best quality reachable outcome.
• Fill in the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.

Quality Assurance

• Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure conformity of product requirements with standard finished goods specifications.

Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Ensure proper cleaning of the line during the shift and month close.
• Ensure proper handling of raw material received, returned, and transferred to and from the Raw Material warehouse.
• Make sure all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw material are in their dedicated places.

Safety & Compliance

• Comply with and follow safety and environmental instructions.
• Participate in toolbox talks given by the HSE officer.
• Verbally inform the Lead Operator and the Line Setter of any problems that occur on the machine.
• Consult and participate at all applicable levels and functions in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system.
