Role Overview

German International School Dubai seeks qualified teachers for Secondary Level II (Sekundarstufe II) with specialization in Mathematics and a minor subject (French, Chemistry, Physics, Ethics, German, or English) for the 2026/27 academic year. The position is full-time, based in Dubai.

The school encompasses grades 1 through 12 and includes an attached German kindergarten.

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics and a secondary subject to secondary-level students, while contributing actively to school governance, committees, and extracurricular programming in a collaborative, international school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

• Teach Mathematics and one minor subject (French, Chemistry, Physics, Ethics, German, or English) to Secondary Level II students.
• Deliver 25.5 hours of instruction per week.

School Community

• Participate in school committees and governance structures.
• Engage actively in extracurricular events and activities beyond classroom teaching.

Qualifications & Experience

• Teaching qualification (Lehrbefähigung) in Mathematics and one minor subject (French, Chemistry, Physics, Ethics, German, or English) for Secondary Level II.
• Second State Examination (2. Staatsexamen) is mandatory.
