Role Overview
Marketing Intern at Metabolic.Health, a healthcare and GLP-1 company. The role executes fast-moving campaigns across digital, content, and on-ground initiatives in the healthcare marketing space.
Role Purpose
You will work directly with the Marketing Manager to turn strategy into real assets across social content, shoots, creator collaborations, email, and offline execution. You will learn how a healthcare marketing team operates by being part of real campaigns and real decisions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social, email, and events
- Coordinate with designers, doctors, and content teams to deliver assets quickly
- Provide on-site support at events, including live capture and posting
Content Creation & Production
- Shoot and edit content at clinics, events, and on-site activations, including short-form video and stills for Instagram and TikTok
- Draft basic content, including captions, emailers, and WhatsApp messages
- Shoot and edit content on a phone without a crew
Social Media & Community Management
- Manage the social calendar, covering scheduling, captions, community management, and direct messages
- Research trends in healthcare, wellness, and the GLP-1 space
- Track campaign performance and pull simple reports
Creator & Influencer Partnerships
- Help run creator and influencer activity, from briefs and product sends to tracking deliverables
Asset Organization
- Keep the content library organized so nothing gets lost
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum age 18
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field
- Prior internship experience in marketing or content is a plus
- Familiarity with Premiere or Lightroom is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Highly organized; replies to messages and hits deadlines
- Quick to learn and faster to execute
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms; understands what is working right now and why
- Comfortable shooting and editing content on a phone without a crew
- Comfortable on set and on camera when needed
- Genuine interest in healthcare, wellness, or longevity
- Native proficiency in CapCut, Canva, Instagram, and TikTok
- Comfortable with basic analytics and Google Sheets
