Role Purpose
Serve as the strategic marketing leader and trusted advisor to the EEMEA Senior Sales Director, shaping growth strategy through market insights, competitive intelligence, portfolio optimization, and commercial recommendations. Lead regional market development and adoption initiatives to accelerate market share expansion and deliver sustainable business growth across EEMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute regional growth, market development, and portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations to accelerate growth.
- Analyze market, competitive, and clinical data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic actions.
- Assess and understand market share, pricing, ASPs, and competitive dynamics.
Product Launches & Commercialization
- Lead the planning and execution of major product launches and commercialization initiatives across EEMEA.
- Drive salesforce readiness and launch excellence through effective training, messaging, and competitive positioning.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders to inform strategy, support adoption, and shape market development efforts.
- Lead customer engagement activities, regional congress strategies, and educational initiatives.
- Partner with Sales leadership to drive market adoption, market share expansion, and commercial excellence.
Marketing Programs & Strategy
- Develop evidence-based marketing strategies, value propositions, and customer engagement programs.
- Manage product line, program, and campaign budgets to maximize return on investment.
Organizational Leadership
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and business performance.
- Manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for attracting, developing, and retaining talent and partnering with HR on all aspects of talent development.
- Represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, working closely with cross-functional teams, marketing peers and leaders, and managing needs and messaging to upper management.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules.
- Take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as protection of the environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence and control.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in marketing, OR Master's Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience in marketing.
- Demonstrated track record in people management.
- Experience working in a regulated industry.
- Proven successful project management skills.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience of the clinical areas where Edwards' products are used or intended to be used.
- Understanding of the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
- Expert understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
- Extensive understanding of broad market research designs; ability to develop market research programs coordinating with the global VOC manager and demonstrate in-depth understanding of commercial goals behind research.
- Expert knowledge of financial mechanisms that relate to marketing, including forecasting, expense budgeting and management, purchase order compliance and processing, and third-party vendor compliance management.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Consult in project settings within multiple marketing areas, interfacing with low to middle management.
- Recognized as an expert in one or more areas with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization.
