Role Overview

Marine Construction Project Manager at Ocean Marine, delivering safe and compliant marine construction projects from site preparation through closeout.

Role Purpose

Deliver marine construction projects that meet schedule and budget targets while maintaining zero safety-critical incidents. Ensure construction quality through inspection and testing, minimize rework through effective planning, and achieve smooth, timely project documentation handover at closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead safe, compliant delivery of marine construction projects.
• Coordinate engineering, resources, and execution plans from site preparation through closeout.
• Plan and schedule projects using Primavera.
• Balance schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct QA/QC inspections and reporting.
• Perform risk assessments and obtain permits.
• Ensure construction quality through inspection and testing.
• Minimize rework through effective planning.

Safety & Governance

• Demonstrate strong safety leadership to achieve zero safety-critical incidents.
• Lead safe, compliant project delivery.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders on challenging field conditions.
• Coordinate across functional areas.

Operations

• Apply knowledge of marine construction methods.
• Manage dredging and seabed preparation activities.
• Apply structural concrete and steel basics.
• Problem-solve under field conditions.
• Achieve smooth, timely project documentation handover at closeout.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of marine construction methods.
• Knowledge of dredging and seabed preparation.
• Knowledge of structural concrete and steel basics.
• Experience with project planning and scheduling using Primavera.
• Experience with QA/QC inspections and reporting.
• Experience with risk assessments and permits.
• Demonstrated safety leadership capability.
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams.
• Proven problem-solving ability under field conditions.
• Demonstrated stakeholder communication skills.
