Role Purpose

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the management of the entire housekeeping operations for the property, ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout all areas and leading the housekeeping team to deliver an excellent cleaning service.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Standards

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in housekeeping areas including rooms, public and common areas.
• Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees.
• Support the housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Build a productive and professional relationship with housekeeping staff members, housekeeping clients and all contractor personnel.

Financial & Administrative Management

• Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records.
• Control and maintain budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the management of a housekeeping team.
• Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
