Role Overview
Manager - Design Governance at Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC). This is a senior role within the Design Excellence (DEx) department, based at the company's headquarters.
Company Overview
The Design Governance vertical sits within the Design Excellence (DEx) department, which operates under the Corporate Development Unit (CDU). Design Governance acts as custodian of design principles across all QIC projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand identity.
Role Purpose
Implement and maintain design governance frameworks that ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all QIC projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Business Units to monitor adherence to established governance processes, and drive continuous improvement of design practices through feedback on adoption issues to other DEx verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Governance Framework & Standards
- Develop and implement QIC-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring projects' adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
- Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures.
- Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking.
Compliance & Audit
- Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies.

- Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
- Utilize advanced digital tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making.
Team Development
- Mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation, and analytical tasks, contributing to the professional development of the team.
