Role Overview
Manager - Accounts Payable at Qiddiya Investment Company. This role leads the accounts payable function within the finance department, ensuring efficient operations and supporting the company's financial health.
Role Purpose
Oversee all accounts payable activities, supervise the AP team, and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement of financial operations through process audits and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Manage and lead team members effectively.
Invoice & Payment Processing
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Process invoices and payments accurately and timely.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage communications with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate vendor information and records in the accounting system.
Audits & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure internal controls are followed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare reports and analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Professional Development
- Keep up to date with best practices and regulatory requirements relevant to accounts payable management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, internal controls, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
