Role Overview
Logistics Manager (Construction/PMC) at AtkinsRéalis. This is a regular employee position responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials across construction and project management contexts.

Role Purpose
The Logistics Manager drives operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across all logistics functions. The role ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer requirements while supporting business objectives and customer satisfaction through efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support organizational and project requirements.
- Plan and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and equipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation, storage, and supply chain disruptions.
Operations & Execution
- Manage transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory operations.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management and reporting.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across logistics operations.
- Resolve logistics issues, delays, and customer service concerns in a timely manner.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and third-party logistics providers.
- Manage logistics budgets, contracts, and vendor performance to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, project, and operations teams to support business needs.
Performance & Reporting
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports for management review.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and warehouse teams to achieve operational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics operations in industrial, manufacturing, construction, retail, or infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international shipping requirements.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CPL, or equivalent are desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, transportation planning, and warehouse operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and logistics software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage logistics budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
