Role Purpose
You will oversee logistics services for personnel housed at ADAB, including water supply delivery, lodging furniture management, and linen services. You will manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, maintain storage facilities, and ensure timely fulfillment of lodging support requests across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Water Delivery Services
- Provide and oversee water delivery services between 0700β1800 Monday through Saturday as needed.
- Manage water delivery team ensuring receipt and delivery of water pallets.
- Manage inventory levels and provide ready-to-order documents to Government for re-stocking requirements.
- Manage water within the Class I storage area.
- Coordinate escort of delivery trucks at the front gate and provide USN Monitor of LNs/OCNs for water delivery vehicles to one of three water storage areas.
- Ensure delivery trucks are fully escorted off the base after each water delivery with no escorting discrepancies allowed per month.
- Rotate water pallets using first in/first out method after each water delivery.
- Verify no damage has occurred during delivery and after each pallet has been downloaded.
- Check that shrink wrap integrity has been maintained for future pallet deliveries and sanitation.
- Remove one bottle of water from each pallet and clearly mark it with the pallet number.
- Store each marked water bottle in the marked container for pickup by 380 ECES Bio Environmental.
- Contact 380 ECES Bio Environmental for water testing.
- Ensure all pallets and water bottles are marked with no discrepancies allowed per month.
- Receive confirmation from 380 ECES Bio Environmental that water is suitable for consumption before distribution and rotation into stock (historical turnaround time 48β72 hours).
- Manage water delivery schedule for 110 identified facilities and drop-off locations.
- Develop and submit water delivery schedule to the COR for approval.
- Ensure all scheduled water drop areas are stocked with no more than two stock outages allowed per month.
- Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls from requestors asking for pickup or delivery of water pallets for all facilities at ADAB.
- Deliver water to or pick up water from each requested location within 24 hours after initial customer notification/request with no more than two late deliveries or pickups each month.
- Perform general cleanliness and trash removal (cardboard, shrink wrap, etc.) from water delivery points to appropriate dumpster.
- Collect empty water pallets and return to vendor at water storage areas daily.
Inventory Management
- Determine quantities required and timely stock replenishment and rotation using experienced judgment, historical data, occupancy, and utilization.
- Establish and maintain minimum stock levels of all expendable supplies and equipment to ensure adequate inventory with no more than two unfulfilled lodging item requests due to depleted stock levels per month.
- Maintain full inventory of lodging items in storage facilities in an orderly manner.
- Implement a system in place to account for all items with no more than two discrepancies per month.
Lodging Furniture Services
- Store, inventory, order, assemble, breakdown, remove, deliver, and install furniture, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, beds, and other lodging-related items in lodging rooms with no more than two discrepancies per month.
- Support lodging furniture moves inclusive of storage, ordering, inventory, assembly, breakdown, installation, and removal and delivery.
- Manage lodging furniture inclusive of bed frames, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, nightstands, wall lockers, and other related lodging furniture.
Additional Lodging Support
- Assist with other lodging duties inclusive of reservations, in-processing, and out-processing of personnel lodged at ADAB.
- Place work orders upon customer request for lodging facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6K and 10K Forklift and 6K Boom lift experience (preferred).
- Previous military experience operating heavy equipment (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Intermediate level skillset in computer functions including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for the U.A.E.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
- Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
