Locum DHA Radiologist - female

Role Overview

Metabolic Health seeks a female Locum DHA licensed Radiologist to join its multidisciplinary team at 268 Al Wasl Rd, Jumeirah 1, Dubai and/or Grove Mall, Al Barsha, Dubai, UAE. The role plays a critical part in the diagnostic pathway, performing and interpreting imaging studies that support diagnosis and management of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, endocrine disorders, and associated complications.

Role Purpose

To interpret and analyze medical imaging studies, deliver accurate diagnostic reports to referring physicians, collaborate with clinical teams across multiple specialties, and maintain high standards of quality assurance in all radiological procedures and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Image Interpretation

• Interpret and analyze medical images of ultrasound.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians.
• Correlate medical image findings with other examinations and tests.

Patient Care

• Consult with patients to explain diagnostic findings and answer questions regarding imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Follow up with patients as necessary.

Collaboration and Consultation

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, cardiologists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.

Quality Assurance

• Maintain high standards of quality in imaging and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and implement best practices.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with specialization in Radiology (MD, FRCR, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility to practice as a Specialist Radiologist in Dubai.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in musculoskeletal, abdominal, and cardiovascular imaging desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital radiology workflows.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with attention to clinical detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
