Role Overview

Land Surveyor Specialist at M1 Construction L.L.C. The role is based on-site and involves conducting precise land surveys for construction projects to determine property boundaries, topography, and other essential site data.

Role Purpose

Perform accurate land surveys and provide detailed site information to ensure precise planning and execution of construction activities, working in coordination with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Data Collection

• Perform land surveys using various surveying instruments and technologies, including GPS and total stations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret field data to produce detailed survey maps and reports.
• Demarcate property boundaries and stake out construction layouts according to project specifications.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to provide accurate site information.
• Ensure compliance with local surveying standards, regulations, and safety procedures.

Equipment & Documentation

• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment for optimal performance.
• Prepare documentation, including legal descriptions and survey certificates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in surveying instruments and software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and GPS technology.
• Strong understanding of local land surveying laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work on-site under various environmental conditions.
