Role Purpose

Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all kitchen, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical equipment to ensure effective operation across facilities. Attend to all maintenance requests as assigned by supervisors in accordance with departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance and Repair

• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all kitchen, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical installations and systems.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on all kitchen, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Carry out new installations for kitchen, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems and ancillary equipment when necessary.
• Check daily temperatures of all refrigerated stores and inspect respective condensing units for proper function.
• Carry out scheduled calibration of all refrigeration equipment including walk-in freezers and chillers and specified kitchen equipment as per DM and HACCP standards.
• Carry out hands-on electro-mechanical and electronic function works within the confines of Topgolf Dubai or any other item as directed.
• Coordinate with Facilities Lead and Assistant Facilities Lead in all electro-mechanical related works, ensuring deficiencies in equipment operation and defects are attended and completed in a timely manner.
• Carry out minor repairs to all Topgolf Dubai furniture and fixtures.
• Inspect regularly the function and safe operation of all equipment under jurisdiction.

Team Leadership and Management

• Demonstrate good leadership skills and motivation of subordinates.
• Show good abilities in human resources management of subordinates.
• Ensure punctual attendance at work of all employees.
• Prepare requisitions for material necessary for job performance of subordinates and control issue and consumption of such material.
• Ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform of subordinates, particularly when working in guest areas.

Safety, Health, and Compliance

• Be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
• Ensure that Health, Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety, and Municipality regulations are adhered to and make thorough spot checks.
• Report any faults immediately to the Executive Chef.
• Participate in Topgolf Dubai emergency response team.
• Ensure cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.

Operations and Control

• Participate in the control of all heat, light, and power equipment according to the need and demand of Topgolf Dubai and external weather conditions.
• Topgolf Dubai is part of Emirates Golf Club; the Kitchen Equipment Technician may be asked to work at the Club if required.

Quality and Culture

• Demonstrate and apply Dubai Golf's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Be responsible to apply the four Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
• Participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of Topgolf Dubai culture, including various evening functions, in line with Dubai Golf's continual improvement.

IT Security

• Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl Dubai Golf.
• Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
• Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by wasl IT Department.
• Immediately report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) to the IT Service Desk.

General

• Perform any other duties assigned by Facilities Lead or Assistant Facilities Lead.
