Role Overview
Key Account Manager, Pharmacy Automation (PA) - Riyadh at Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD). Primary work location: Riyadh, SAU (Centria Office Building).

The Pharmacy Automation business operates within BD's Connected Care division, which develops millions of smart devices that use automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.
Role Purpose
Drive revenue growth and profitability by promoting and selling Pharmacy Automation products, solutions, and services across the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering sustainable business growth through a customer-centric approach. A key objective is to expand and strengthen the Pharmacy Automation business within the Ministry of Health sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify business opportunities for Pharmacy Automation products and relevant stakeholders within assigned accounts and territories.
- Drive business growth within the Ministry of Health by developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the successful implementation of Pharmacy Automation solutions.
- Lead engagement with government healthcare institutions and relevant MOH decision-makers to expand market presence and achieve business objectives.
- Convert sales opportunities into profitable business outcomes.
- Achieve agreed annual sales, revenue, and growth targets.
- Ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in a competitive market environment.
Account & Territory Management
- Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with regional sales strategies.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Manage complex multi-account agreements and negotiations.
- Experience in territory planning, account management, and sales forecasting.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and solution-design teams to develop customer opportunities.
- Collaborate across functions to deliver customer solutions and business growth.
- Capable of working effectively across cross-functional teams.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, with a proven track of consistent performance and career progression.
- Previous experience in key account management or strategic account development is preferred.
- Experience working within multinational or international organizations is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in consultative and solution-based selling.
