Role Purpose

To support kitchen operations and leadership, maintaining standards of food quality, safety, and service excellence while assisting in team supervision and culinary execution.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations

• Prepare and execute dishes according to KIGO's culinary standards and recipes.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods.
• Ensure kitchen stations are organized, stocked, and ready for service.

Team Management & Development

• Assist the Head Chef and Executive Chef in supervising kitchen staff.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen team members on techniques and standards.
• Provide direction and feedback to ensure adherence to procedures.

Food Safety & Standards

• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor food storage, temperature control, and handling practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Demonstrated expertise in fine dining or upscale casual restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and culinary best practices.
