Junior Quality Engineer

Role Overview

Junior Quality Engineer at TAWANTECH. This is an entry-level quality assurance position supporting software testing activities and ensuring solutions meet functional and quality requirements.

Role Purpose

Support software quality assurance activities by executing defined testing activities, identifying defects, and ensuring developed solutions meet documented functional and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Testing Execution

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user-interface testing within the squad.
• Test web and mobile applications across browsers, iOS and Android devices, and OS versions.
• Test payment flows end to end, including transaction and reconciliation scenarios.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing following system changes.

Test Management & Documentation

• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Prepare test data and maintain testing evidence for audit and change governance.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.

Process & Collaboration

• Support testing across environments and release cycles.
• Contribute to automated test suites under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Coordinate with developers to clarify defects and expected system behavior.
• Follow established QA standards, processes, and testing methodologies.
• Report testing progress, defects, and quality observations to the squad.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and the defect lifecycle.
