Junior Financial Lines Broker in the Early Careers Program at Marsh (Marsh McLennan), based in Dubai, DIFC, UAE.

Role Purpose
To launch your career in the FINPRO (Financial and Professional Lines) MENA team by learning the fundamentals of financial lines insurance products, understanding real market conditions in broking and placement, and building meaningful relationships with clients and (re)insurers across the MENA region under the mentorship of experienced industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Client Support
- Support the FINPRO MENA team in day-to-day operations and client deliverables.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients and insurers.
Learning & Market Knowledge
- Learn the fundamentals of Financial Lines products and insurance placement.
- Support and learn broking and placement activities as you develop your market knowledge.
- Gain exposure to one of the most dynamic insurance markets in the world.
- Understand how insurance and reinsurance broking and placement work in real market conditions.
Research & Strategy
- Contribute to market research and analysis that informs strategy.
Professional Development
- Participate actively in training and development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional background).
- A solid grasp of basic financial concepts and principles.
- Recent graduate status.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English; you will be representing the company to clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Results-oriented mindset with analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in insurance, financial services, or risk management.
- Arabic and/or French language skills (desirable).
- Understanding of Power BI and advanced AI tools (desirable).
Additional Information
- This is a hybrid work role. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in the local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
- Prior internship or exposure to banking, finance, or insurance sectors is desirable.
