Role Overview
Junior Architect (Site Supervision) at AtkinsRéalis in the UAE. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of architectural projects, providing technical expertise and creative solutions while working closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams.

Role Purpose
To support the design and delivery of architectural projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use typologies by preparing technical documentation, developing 3D models, coordinating between design and construction teams, and liaising with clients and consultants to ensure designs meet requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design Support
- Assist in the preparation and development of architectural designs and concepts for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and other project types.
Technical Documentation
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and presentations under the guidance of senior architects.
- Support the preparation of tender documents.
- Assist in design reviews.
3D Modelling & Visualization
- Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM tools.
Site Coordination
- Assist in coordination between design and construction teams.
- Ensure that designs are correctly implemented at the site level.
Client Liaison
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure that architectural designs meet client requirements, budget constraints, and project timelines.
Research & Innovation
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Bring innovative ideas to the design process.
Sustainability
- Contribute to sustainable design strategies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and local regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- 8+ years of professional experience in architecture, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Internships or academic projects related to architecture will also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of BIM tools and processes is a plus.
- Strong conceptual and technical design abilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and designs.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Creative and innovative thinking with a strong passion for architecture and design.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and learn from senior team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in the UAE.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
