Role Purpose
Support the design, programming, and maintenance of automated control systems under senior supervision. Assist with PLC programming, component integration, testing, and troubleshooting while contributing to documentation, continuous improvement, and training initiatives. Develop practical technical skills in automation engineering within NMDC's Technical Fleet Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Programming
- Assist in designing and developing automated systems under senior supervision.
- Support PLC programming, configuration, and basic automation tasks.
System Integration & Testing
- Participate in integration of sensors, actuators, and control components.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems and record results.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Help troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation for designs, tests, and modifications.
Collaboration & Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements.
- Support training of operators and maintenance staff on automation systems.
Compliance & Development
- Adhere to company safety and compliance standards.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical and professional skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation or control systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation components.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering software tools.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

- Physically fit and able to meet offshore medical requirements (SEHA/ADMA).
