Role Overview

IT Support Officer at Burjline Builders, providing comprehensive technical support across traditional enterprise IT and modern smart-device ecosystems.

Role Purpose

Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues while taking primary ownership of configuring, supporting, and maintaining a wide array of personal and connected devices. Deliver end-to-end technical support across hardware, software, mobile, and smart home environments.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Support

  • Provide comprehensive Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support to users.
  • Ensure rapid and professional resolution of complex hardware and software issues.

Personal Device & Mobile Management

  • Serve as the primary support lead for all personal and mobile devices.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
  • Troubleshoot personal computing devices.

Smart Ecosystems & AV Support

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Smart TVs.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot media streaming boxes including Apple TV and Android TV.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home and office automation systems.

CCTV & ELV Systems

  • Support and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) infrastructure.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IP CCTV camera systems.
  • Support access control systems.
  • Troubleshoot related physical security technology.

Network & Wireless Infrastructure

  • Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity issues across LAN and WAN.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex wireless (Wi-Fi) deployments.
  • Handle L2/L3 network troubleshooting involving switches, routers, and access points.

Server Administration

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

Documentation & Vendor Management

  • Maintain accurate IT inventory.
  • Document system configurations.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers for specialized equipment repairs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably experience in the investment or financial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
