Role Purpose

Manage and optimize the business's Oracle Manufacturing and ERP applications, from configuration and user access administration through change control and end-to-end delivery of customizations, to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective ERP capability that meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Manufacturing Optimization

• Manage the optimization of Oracle Manufacturing processes, including Production, Shop Floor Control, BOM, Routings, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations, to ensure accurate production data, minimize shop floor disruption, and maintain reliable visibility of inventory levels, order status, and fulfillment across business units submitting orders independently into the ERP.

System Configuration

• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements while minimizing customizations and technical debt.

User Access & Security

• Own user access administration by defining authorization profiles and access levels.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of user IDs and technical help desk procedures to safeguard system security and ensure consistent, timely user support.

System Integrity & Change Management

• Ensure system integrity and secure application delivery by managing change control processes, implementing application security controls, supporting business continuity planning, and providing implementation support for approved system changes.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvements to internal procedures and software customizations across business functions.
• Identify and implement best practices across business functions beyond Oracle Manufacturing modules.

Project Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP customizations and enhancements in collaboration with the project team, from initial inquiry through functional design, development, testing, and implementation, to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and delivered on time.
• Drive the scheduling, prioritization, and implementation of all relevant ERP tasks, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery that aligns with approved user requirements and supports reliable and cost-effective delivery of ERP capability.

System Evaluation

• Evaluate upgrades, new software, and system improvements for technical and functional suitability across departments and end users, ensuring enhancements align with business needs and support operational effectiveness.

User Support

• Provide direct, hands-on support to business users by resolving the problems they face, to minimize operational disruption and maintain business productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience on Oracle ERP applications, including configuration, implementation, and support.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Modules and/or JDE Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Database, Network Technology, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Internet Technology, Quality Management, and Change Management.
• Project management certification is advantageous.
