IRD - Mini Bar Attendant

Role Overview

Join Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay as a Mini Bar Attendant. This role reports directly to the In Room Dining Manager and focuses on maintaining minibar inventory and service in guest rooms at our iconic beachfront property on an exclusive island in Bahrain's capital.

Role Purpose

Ensure guest rooms are equipped with well-stocked, properly maintained minibars that meet guest needs and enhance their experience while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to company standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Minibar Maintenance & Restocking

• Regularly check and replenish minibars in guest rooms, ensuring a diverse selection of beverages and snacks.
• Verify proper display and expiration dates for all items in the minibar, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor minibar inventory levels, order replenishments as needed, and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
• Promptly report any damaged or missing items to the In Room Dining Manager.

Guest Service

• Address guest requests for minibar refills promptly and assist with inquiries about minibar offerings.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with the In Room Dining Manager and team members to ensure seamless guest services.

Reporting & Record-Keeping

• Generate daily reports on minibar activities, covering sales, consumption, and restocking needs.
• Maintain accurate records of minibar consumption.

Compliance & Operations

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and alcohol service regulations, holding a valid Serving it Right Certificate – BC.
• Assist with various food and beverage tasks as required, supporting In Room Dining operations, including delivering food orders to guest rooms.
• Stay adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the hotel and its guests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Valid Serving it Right Certificate – BC.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of minibar inventory management systems is a plus.
