Role Purpose

Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences by designing interaction specifications, conducting usability research, and advocating for user-centered design decisions across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Prototyping

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interaction specifications for web and mobile experiences.
• Apply knowledge of cognitive psychology, UX heuristics, and task analysis to every project.

Usability Research & Testing

• Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to refine designs and support a user-first approach.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure all interactions are accessible, responsive, and aligned with brand and design system standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers in cross-functional teams.
• Present and defend interaction choices based on usability principles and user feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Usability Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Certification from Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) or Human Factors International (HFI) is required.
• 3–5 years of experience designing interaction models and performing usability evaluations.
• Strong foundation in usability principles, backed by education or applied research experience.
• Proven portfolio showcasing high-impact interaction design and usability case studies.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and usability testing platforms.
• Clear understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), mobile-first design, and responsive behavior.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
