Role Purpose

As a Structural Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance through systematic site monitoring, documentation, and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Contract Management

• Review and interpret contract documents, technical drawings, specifications, and health and safety protocols to ensure comprehensive project understanding
• Monitor contractor compliance with contract standards and specifications through systematic site observations, measurements, and testing activities

Site Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain detailed daily records of contractor resources, including personnel allocation and equipment deployment
• Document all assigned work areas, including contractor activities, personnel, equipment, locations, methodologies, and observed work practices
• Track material deliveries and implement site instructions while maintaining rigorous quality control procedures and standards

Site Inspection & Supervision

• Conduct site inspections and supervision activities as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in structural inspection or construction site supervision
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, technical specifications, and quality assurance protocols

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow direction from senior engineering staff
