In-Store Visual Merchandiser

Role Overview

In-Store Visual Merchandiser at Apparel Group. This role is responsible for developing, delivering and communicating visual concepts to promote the brand, products and services in-store.

Role Purpose

Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies that enhance brand identity, drive commercial sales, and inspire customers through compelling in-store displays. Train and coach store teams to maintain consistent visual presentation standards across daily, weekly and seasonal tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Image & Standards

• Ensure brand identity and presentation standards are achieved consistently in windows and in-store by creating eye-catching displays that incorporate commercial sales opportunities.
• Implement brand-specific visual merchandising standards.
• Coordinate store displays in line with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Develop floor plans and maximize visual impact.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and in-store layout according to brand requirements.
• Create store layouts organized by product categories.
• Ensure proper merchandising of all items.
• Make use of creative lighting for window displays.

Merchandising Execution & Updates

• Maximize placement of new lines and re-merchandise the store when new trends emerge.
• Take photographs of every change made to merchandise displays.
• Collect, review and gather feedback on merchandise performance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Train and coach the store team to perform merchant-based visual presentation and manage daily, weekly and seasonal visual presentation tasks.
• Work closely with operations and brand management teams to increase sales.
• Partner with VM Manager and sales team to achieve commercial goals.

Store Operations & Market Intelligence

• Involve in pre-opening of stores and conduct timely visits to ensure brand standards are properly implemented and followed.
• Conduct research of current market trends and lifestyle.
