HVAC Project Specialist - UAE Nationals

Role Overview

Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Project Specialist for UAE Nationals to support site implementation of HVAC systems across service, maintenance, retrofit, testing and commissioning activities in the United Arab Emirates. You will report to the Operations Manager, Aftermarket HVAC Segment and coordinate people, parts, reports and customer communication to ensure jobs are delivered on time, documented accurately and handed over smoothly.

Role Purpose

To coordinate and execute HVAC service, maintenance and retrofit projects from site mobilization through customer handover, managing relationships with customers, subcontractors and internal teams while maintaining safety, quality documentation and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Drive assigned L&M and POC jobs, including testing and commissioning, and provide timely progress updates.
• Coordinate site activities between customers, subcontractors, supervisors, field teams and office teams.
• Track and support scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Help resolve site-related issues promptly while maintaining a safe and well-controlled work environment.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and submit job progress, completion and invoicing support reports to the office team on time.
• Support system operation training and prepare handover documentation for customers.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, clear communication and accurate documentation in every stage of the job.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the delivery of HVAC service and retrofit work.
• Stay close to the work by working directly with customers, subcontractors, supervisors and internal teams to keep execution aligned on site.

Operations & Logistics

• Follow up on billing for completed jobs and ensure parts and materials are ordered and delivered as planned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• 0–1 year of experience, including internship experience, in Mechanical or HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
