Role Overview
HR Manager at Asico. The role is based in the UAE and leads the complete human resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and HR strategy.
Role Purpose
Lead and manage the full HR function to support organizational growth, ensure regulatory compliance with UAE labor law, and develop a high-performing workforce aligned with company goals and regional practices.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment strategy, including senior-level hiring and workforce planning
- Manage the full talent acquisition process from sourcing through onboarding
- Oversee offboarding procedures
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
- Ensure compliance with visa processing, labor contracts, WPS, and Emiratization requirements where applicable
- Liaise with government entities (MOHRE, GDRFA, etc.) on labor and immigration matters
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals and UAE labor law
Performance & Development
- Manage performance management processes
- Design and oversee training and development programs
- Manage and mentor HR team members
Compensation & Analytics
- Manage compensation and benefits structures, ensuring market competitiveness
- Prepare HR analytics and reports for senior leadership
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience
- At least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the UAE/GCC region
- Deep knowledge of UAE labor law, WPS, and Emiratization regulations
- Proven experience managing HR functions across recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office
Additional Information
- HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is preferred
- Experience managing Emiratization / GCC nationalization compliance is preferred
- Preference for Arab candidates
