Role Overview
HR & Admin Supervisor at ACWA Power, based in Al Qassim.
Role Purpose
Manage the operational activities of the P&C department and enhance systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency. Manage staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Department Management
- Analyze and document business processes and problems to enhance solutions and efficiencies.
- Schedule and conduct department meetings and take responsibility to meet department productivity and quality goals.
- Work under pressure handling significant problems and tasks which come up simultaneously and/or unexpectedly.
- Write reports and statistical data analysis.
- Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.
Staff Management & Performance
- Manage staff in accordance with Division/department Communication Matrix and conduct limited employee performance reviews.
- Identify the competency gap for subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
- Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.
- Perform a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over others.
Scheduling & Training
- Manage staff scheduling to include work assignments, rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT performance.
- Monitor the in-processing of all new employees.
Personnel Records & Compliance
- Maintain all personnel records at a high level of confidentiality and ensure the processing of all new employees.
- Update employee files to cope with official documents requirements.
- Communicate with Supervisors and Managers on Department operations and follow-up latest issues of Local Labour Law and future amendments.
Government Relations
- Supervise the activities related to the processing of employees' visas, renewals, Iqamas, work permits, licenses and other government-related documentation for NOMAC in KSA / respective Country to ensure compliance with NOMAC's policies and local regulations.
- Build and maintain rapport with Governmental Bodies.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Identify and control hazards in assigned work area.
- Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.
- Report deviations in Integrated Management System.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Payroll & Administration
- Process monthly payroll including EOS, Leavers, and OT.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.
- Contribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organisation's standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent.
- 6β8 years' experience in Human Resources or Administration.
