Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

Housekeeping Attendant at Apparel Group. The role involves performing light cleaning duties to maintain office premises in a clean and orderly manner.

Role Purpose

Maintain office premises in a clean, orderly, and hygienic condition by performing a range of cleaning and housekeeping tasks across all areas of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.

Waste & Linen Management

• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish linens.
• Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.

Grounds & Facility Maintenance

• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.

Errands & Support Tasks

• Run errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners and buying groceries.
• Take care of pets by grooming, exercising, and/or feeding them.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school degree or equivalent (12th grade / Intermediate pass).
