Role Purpose

The Housekeeper maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring all clinic areas meet high standards of hygiene, organization, and safety in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Sanitization

• Clean and sanitize all patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and equipment.

Waste Management & Safety

• Ensure proper disposal of waste, including medical and non-medical waste, following safety protocols.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the Clinic Operations Manager.

Infection Control

• Follow infection control procedures and hygiene standards as per clinic policy and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Support all hospital infection control programs.

Supplies & Operations

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials.
• Assist in setting up rooms for procedures or patient consultations when required.
• Support smooth clinic operation by ensuring a tidy, organized, and professional environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
