Role Overview
Hotel Cleanliness Expert - Housekeeping at Marriott. The position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel while creating a memorable and unique guest experience.
Role Purpose
To deliver exceptional guest environments by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance across all hotel spaces. Guest Environment Experts are empowered to take ownership of their assigned areas and respond to guest needs in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Requests
- Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Respond to guest needs and inquiries related to room and facility cleanliness.
Room & Space Cleaning
- Clean guest rooms and prepare beds to hotel standards.
- Clean and maintain public spaces throughout the hotel.
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with supplies and linens.
Quality & Standards
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of assigned spaces to uphold quality standards.
- Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications remain professional at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures consistently.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Uphold confidentiality standards as required by the company.
- Complete all other reasonable job duties as requested.
Additional Information
Physical Requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods throughout shifts.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
- Take a hands-on approach to all work tasks.
