Host/ess position at Mercury Lounge, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.

Role Purpose
Welcome and seat guests while managing the host stand, reviewing reservations, coordinating with servers, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences across the Mercury Lounge and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Seating
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
Operations & Setup
- Manage the host stand and review the reservation book
- Make recommendations as to the setup of table sections
- Check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
Maintenance & Standards
- Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms
- Make necessary improvements to dining areas
Knowledge & Preparation
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information
Qualifications & Experience
- One to two years' previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet
- Previous employment experience within a luxury hotel is considered an asset
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems
- Strong communication skills
