Role Overview

Head of Shared Services at Emrb.

Role Purpose

Lead operational support, facilities management, security, and administrative services across the organization's regional sites, ensuring alignment with business continuity protocols, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization through centralized resource management.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support for Network Infrastructure

• Partner with Engineering to oversee hard facilities management of technical spaces, data centers, and broadcast hubs
• Ensure administrative workflows and physical facilities strictly align with business continuity and disaster recovery protocols managed by Network Operations
• Establish and enforce internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that support operational time

Facilities Management

• Lead space planning, office design, and facility capacity management across all regional sites
• Manage maintenance, preventative scheduling, and capital expenditures (Capex) for all corporate real estate and physical office assets in partnership with engineering and respective departments

Security & Safety

• Design and implement rigorous physical security frameworks, including perimeter security, advanced access control, and CCTV monitoring for corporate offices and critical infrastructure
• Act as the primary lead for physical emergencies, site disruptions, or security breaches, coordinating swift resolutions alongside the Network Operations team
• Enforce absolute compliance with local and international safety regulations to guarantee a zero-harm environment for all employees and visitors

Admin Services & Vendor Ecosystems

• Negotiate and conduct performance reviews for all soft and hard service providers, including catering, cleaning, logistics, and security, in partnership with the procurement department
• Leverage centralized purchasing to optimize administrative costs and overhead across multi-hub regional operations
