Role Overview

GT - Country Operation Manager at Unilever. This role bridges Business Groups, Marketing, Sales Team, and Client Success teams to drive strategic growth and optimize revenue streams across retail and wholesale operations.

Role Purpose

The Country Operation Manager ensures long-term sustainability and expansion of the business by leading the strategic growth horizon. The role identifies, secures, and nurtures high-value partnerships that convert market potential and service capabilities into a reliable, optimized revenue stream, while balancing market demand, profitability, and operational capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Sales Management

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and initial outreach to final execution.
  • Identify market trends and deliver on Sales KPIs.
  • Identify potential market shifts or competitor movements, driving scenario planning to safeguard the sales pipeline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with internal stakeholders to ensure promised solutions meet technical realities and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with business groups, demand planners, and sales teams for new product launches.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and communication with exports team on exports demand.

Business Optimization

  • Continuously refine the business development toolkit to improve conversion rates and sales cycle efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data to support planning accuracy.
  • Visualize data and identify operational root causes to propose optimal solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Financial acumen and P&L mastery.
  • Crisis management capability.
  • Teams leadership.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
