GROUTING SUPERVISOR

Role Overview

Grouting Supervisor with NMDC Group, reporting to the Field Engineer and Barge Superintendent. The role operates onboard vessels and job sites.

Role Purpose

Oversee all grouting operations, manage grouting teams, operate specialized mixing equipment, ensure compliance with client specifications and safety protocols, and maintain grouting equipment and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Equipment

• Operate RCM mixing and jet mixer pump equipment.
• Own all grouting operations onboard the vessel and job site.
• Ensure backup spares such as hoses and fittings are available at all times.
• Coordinate with plant workshop regarding maintenance and modifications required on grouting equipment.

Team Leadership & Safety

• Manage full responsibility over Grout Riggers, Grouting Operators, and Grout Supervisors assigned to the project.
• Issue subordinates with required safety gears and control the supply of these gears.
• Lead toolbox meetings with grouting crew and promote safety awareness.
• Oversee crew safety, production, and quality standards.

Compliance & Procedures

• Apply approved procedures in line with client specifications.
• Maintain responsibility for all grouting equipment and spares.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years total experience.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Plant Mechanical Works.
• 3–5 years experience with jet mixer and recirculating continuous mixer (RCM) grouting pump operation.

Skills & Competencies

• Good standard of written and spoken English.
