Role Purpose
The Graduate Engineer works as part of a team that delivers and supports AOC and DT software implementations to meet customer requirements. The role involves implementing projects in Information Management and Digital Twin domains throughout the entire project lifecycle, from contract signing through final delivery and customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Delivery
- Carry out service engagements with customers including implementation of standard and customized solutions.
- Engage in project implementation from contract signing through final delivery and customer handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered as designed, on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with Global teams in solution development, documentation, deployment and delivery.
Requirements & Solution Design
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis for customer projects.
- Define solutions and perform software customization to meet business needs.
- Act as primary customer interface to ensure proposed solutions meet their business needs.
Customer Support
- Provide product usage support to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries, questions and issues by diagnosing problems and providing appropriate technical solutions in accurate and timely manner.
- Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical and engineering support.
- Act as technical Point of Contact for ongoing support of critical customers requiring ongoing technical relationship management.
Training & Engagement
- Deliver training to customers on implemented solutions.
- Produce technical specifications and training material.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Prior hands-on experience with AOC, DT and legacy Wonderware products.
- Experience from working with Global Industries and EPC within the mentioned areas is preferred.
- Prior hands-on experience in HMI development and designing is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic scripting and programming knowledge: PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, C#.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of Windows Server features such as IIS and COM+.
- Ability to troubleshoot implementations in a systematic way and bring in technical aid as needed.
- Understand abstract concepts such as classes, objects, attributes and associations.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Additional Information
- Employment Type: Full Time.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas and Petrochemical business is highly desirable.
