Role Purpose

Drive Sanofi's Government Affairs and Institutional Relations agenda across Saudi Arabia by building strong, credible, and long-term relationships with government stakeholders, regulators, health authorities, and national institutions to enable sustainable access, health-system strengthening, and innovation adoption across all Sanofi Global Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with MOH, SFDA, NHIC, NUPCO, local health clusters, procurement entities, and KSA institutional partners to support Sanofi's business objectives across all Global Business Units.
• Develop partnerships with scientific societies, national councils, public-health institutions, and local industry associations to support health-system capacity building and disease-awareness initiatives.
• Establish credible, long-term relationships with senior government officials and institutional stakeholders in KSA.

Government Representation & Strategy

• Represent Sanofi in key KSA government programs aligned with Vision 2030, including health transformation, localization, digital health, and vaccination strategies.
• Represent Sanofi in strategic forums aligned with Vision 2030, national health-transformation priorities, and local industry platforms to shape the environment for better patient outcomes across the Kingdom.

Policy Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor KSA policy developments and advise on strategic impact for all Global Business Units (Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines), translating policy risks and opportunities into actionable business recommendations.
• Provide policy intelligence, insights, and scenario planning to country cross-functional leadership.

Advocacy & Submissions

• Lead or support submissions, position papers, and consultations on pricing, regulation, localization, digital health, vaccination, and specialty-care pathways.
• Drive advocacy strategies aligned with national health priorities including screening, prevention, rare diseases, digital therapeutics, immunization, and chronic-disease management.

Governance & Advisory

• Serve as a key contributor to Country Council, Access Committee, and Cross-Global Business Unit governance.
• Support crisis-management processes, external-risk monitoring, and institutional communication.
• Ensure full compliance with Sanofi external-engagement and ethical-governance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Institutional Relations, or Regulatory/Market Access roles specifically within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of Saudi health-system structures including MOH clusters, SFDA, NUPCO, and Vision 2030 programs.
• Proven track record of building credible, long-term relationships with senior government officials and institutional stakeholders in KSA.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
