Role Overview

Global Head of Contracting Finance at Mashreq, Corporate & Investment Banking Group, Dubai, UAE.

Role Purpose

Provide leadership and hands-on guidance to the contracting finance division to achieve pre-set financial and non-financial objectives, while developing broad strategy across all aspects of the business and positioning the team as a market leader driving regional transaction benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Development

• Develop broad strategy for the assigned division across all aspects of the business including assets, liabilities, products, systems, recovery and Human Resources.
• Drive strategies and transaction benchmarks that are often used by the region's other banks.

Client Relationship Management

• Manage global client relationships across GCC plus Korea, Japan, Turkey, China, Spain, Italy, and other markets.

Leadership & Thought Leadership

• Provide hands-on guidance to the assigned contracting finance division.
• Lead the team viewed as one of the best in the market.
• Develop clear expertise in a complicated business and serve as thought leader across the region.
