Geotechnical Engineer

Role Overview

Geotechnical Engineer at JASARA PMC. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing geotechnical engineering projects, providing expert insights and innovative solutions to complex geotechnical challenges.

Role Purpose

Execute geotechnical engineering projects with a strong foundation in geotechnical principles and practical experience in design and site evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Investigation & Analysis

• Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations, including sampling, testing, and analysis of soil materials.
• Collate and assess data from field investigations, laboratory testing, and numerical modeling.

Design & Planning

• Develop geotechnical design plans for a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, presenting findings, designs, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Project Execution & Monitoring

• Monitor construction activities to ensure that geotechnical design specifications are met.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical aspects into overall engineering designs.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with clients and project stakeholders to communicate project needs and findings effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Solid understanding of geotechnical investigation methods and soil behavior.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with geotechnical design software (e.g., PLAXIS, Geostudio) and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
