Role Overview

Gate Controller at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Enforce company security, safety, and health policies at facility gates while maintaining vigilant monitoring of property access, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Access Control

• Monitor property entrance and electronic surveillance equipment to ensure proper functioning and premises security.
• Maintain full compliance with NAPCO security procedures by following all security guidelines and completing all required security forms.
• Safeguard and secure company assets from deterioration, theft, and misuse.
• Coordinate with plant management to manage security-related exceptions and ensure an efficiently secured premises.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Enforce company regulations and policies regarding Health, Security, Safety, and Environment.
• Assist NAPCO management in achieving a safe and secure environment by ensuring 100% implementation of NAPCO HSSE Procedures.
• Follow and implement all security directions from HSSE department management.
• Inform and coordinate with the safety team regarding safety issues to ensure the application of safety measures and report non-compliance.

Vigilance & Presence

• Maintain 100% vigilance and presence at the assigned security post while on duty.
• Monitor and report any safety or security concerns to the direct supervisor immediately.

Emergency Response & Issue Management

• Respond immediately to any emergency and play required roles by reacting in a timely manner.
• Contain and manage problematic or unusual situations caused by employees, contractors, or visitors, and escalate if needed.

Customer Service & Support

• Provide assistance to people with special needs at the gates.

Facility Management

• Maintain the implementation of the 5S program in all security guard houses without prior notice.
